This project centers the voices of Alaska Native elders and veterans by bridging institutional, federal and university archives, tribal archives, and oral histories.

I am an Iñupiaq historian from Anchorage and Unalakleet. I recently joined the faculty of the University of New Mexico as an Assistant Professor in the Department of History.
